From Kerala
to the Global Stage

Born in Kerala, India to a family with deep roots in Dubai - his father worked in the UAE through the 1980s - Praveen Pillai arrived in the Emirates in 2012 with a relentless drive to build something extraordinary. Starting at an electrical switchgear firm, he rapidly ascended through roles as Business Project Manager, Director of Development, and Director of Business Development.

In 2014, Pillai founded the Macins Group of Companies, a diversified conglomerate that has since expanded into over ten sectors - from interior fit-out and MEP engineering to real estate, automotive, FMCG, and medical tourism. Today, Macins operates across the UAE, India, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, partnering with industry titans including EMAAR, Majid Al Futtaim, VOX Cinemas, and Dubai Municipality.
